Day two of the conference was all business. The first glimpse of the table tops was followed by a day of enlightening industry speakers. Topics presented ranged from, aerial safety and procedures and paint safety and compliance, to business valuations. International's Director of Educational Sessions Patricia Hayden attended the conference and spoke about International's desire to partner with state associations to offer great training programs. LeRoy Timmer joined the conference for lunch to give an update on the Berkley sign code lawsuit. The 2005 Fall Conference and golf outing was brought to a close with the extended product showcase and presentations for manufacturers, distributors and manufacturers' representatives. Doyle-BestOfBest - Doyle Signs' Hershey project entry was chosen as the 2005 "Best of the Best" winner during the Fall Conference and Golf Outing. ISA President Paul Tylman (right) presented Joe Doyle (left) with the plaque during the Fall Conference and Golf Outing. Wilkie-Humorous - The "Humorous Sign" portion of the Sign Design Contest returned again this year. Bryan Wilkerson, Wilkie Manufacturing, swept the category with three of his entries. Bryan Wilkerson received a "humorous" prize for his efforts. |
