Chad Engstrom is VP-Strategic Accounts & Development and Director of Sales at Optec Displays. He
started in the sign industry as an Account Manager at Everbrite in January 2001. Throughout his career,
Chad has held positions in Project Management, Sales and Sales Management. As a 22+ year veteran in
the sign industry, he’s known for his well-rounded sign industry knowledge and professionalism. His
ability to relate with all types of people, in all different environments, is a skillset he’s proud of. Chad
has dedicated the last 12+ years to the advancement of the LED digital signage industry. “I’ve enjoyed
helping our dealers and end users use our technology to help communicate important messages to
those people that are important to them. I feel it’s paramount that our customers understand our
technology and its capabilities, to provide a solution that works best for them now and five years from
now.”, said Chad.
Chad is a proud father of three children. He enjoys spending time with his kids, golfing, “going up
north”, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse
and is a Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE). Chad has been actively involved with sign associations
having held Board Member positions for Illinois Sign Association and Wisconsin Sign Association.
